Attendance Committee Chair: Club Secretary and Nancy Zussy Allen Board Director: Mark Peternell

Works with Club Coordinator and Rotary Secretary to keep club at highest attendance percentage possible. Be alert in indentifying those Rotarians who become absentee prone as well as reminding those who miss a meeting of how and where to make up. Develop ideas, gimmicks, cajoling to help club have attendance record it can be proud of.

Birthdays Committee Chair: Jeff Kingsbury Board Director: Mark Peternell

The Birthday Committee plans and presents periodic short programs honoring Rotarian's birthdays

Cashiers Committee Chair: Christina Daniels and Brian Cockrell Board Director: Mark Peternell

The cashiers are responsible for the management of money exchange for lunch, happy bucks, etc.

Classification/Membership Committee Chair: Judy Henderson Board Director: Martin Meyer

The Membership/Classification Committee promotes sponsorship of new members into Rotary. The Committee also assigns classifications to new members.

Club Bulletin (Wheel) Committee Chair: Dottie Lehuta Board Director: Pam Toal

The Bulletin Committee creates the Wheel that informs club members of upcoming Rotary events, upcoming programs, location changes, highlights previous programs, and promotes fellowship.

Club Roster Committee Chair: Dan Lehuta Board Director: Pam Toal

The Roster Committee gathers information and produces the annual club roster (Directory).

Community Service and Development Committee Chair: Bob Wubbena Board Director: Patty Belmonte

The Community Development (Rotary Works) Committee plans and organizes hands on work for Rotary projects.

Fellowship Committee Chair: Craig Ottavelli Board Director: Craig Ottavelli

The Fellowship Committee provides opportunities for members to share experiences and events through fun activities mostly at club meetings.

Fred Balz Community Grants Committee Committee Chair: Geoff Crooks Board Director: Patty Belmonte

The Grants Committee works with matching grants, individual grants and District Simplified grants

Greeters Committee Chair: Chet Wesman Board Director: Mark Peternell

Greet Rotarians as they enter the meeting and hand them their badges. They are assisted by new members as a part of the Red Badge program.

Group Study Exchange (GSE) Committee Chair: Larry Poplack Board Director: Larry Poplack

Facilitate, coordinate activities and provide travel expenses for team of non-Rotarians from a variety of vocations. Hosts organize 4-6 week intinerary of educational and cultural points of interest.

Happy Bucks Committee Chair: Joe Reder Board Director: Mark Peternell

Raises money for the Fred Balz Community Fund at the weekly meeting by giving members opportunities to share happy events in their lives.

History Committee Chair: Jeff Crandell Board Director: Pam Toal

THe History Committee gathers and archives documents including Rosters, Wheels, photos, videotapes, and plaques. Presentations will keep the the Club's history in front of the membership.

House Committee Committee Chair: Gretchen Sturtevant Board Director: Mark Peternell

Sets up the microphones, banners, audio visual equipment and other meeting needs.

Information Technology Committee Chair: Nate Naismith Board Director: Pam Toal

The IT Committee assists the Club Secretary by administering the online Clubmate system, maintaining the Club's website, posting the weekly newsletter, and assisting other Club functions requiring technology.

International Service - Jazz Festival Committee Chair: Kim Dinsmore Board Director: Riley Moore

The advancement of understanding, goodwill, and peace through world fellowship of business and professional persons united in the ideal of service. The Jazz Festival occurs each November and includes high school jazz bands from the area. The funds generated from the event support local music programs and water projects in Africa.

Schedules members to give the Invocation or inspirational message at the weekly meeting.

Polio Plus Committee Chair: Fred Adair Board Director: Riley Moore

Assists Rotary International in educating and promoting the eradication of polio in the world.

Programs Committee Chair: Jim Larsen Board Director: Pam Toal

Prepares and arranges for all speakers for club meetings

Public Relations Committee Chair:  Board Director: Patty Belmonte

Presents information to the public about the Club and Rotary, its history, goals and accomplishments

Raffle Tickets Committee Chair: Renee Ries Board Director: Mark Peternell

Sells raffle tickets at the weekly meetings to benefit the Feed Balz Community Fund

Red Badge Committee Chair: Kim Dinsmore Board Director: Mark Peternell

THe Red Badge Committee assists new members with the process of completing tasks necessary to advance to blue badge status. The Committee also seeks and accepts projects for new members.

Rotary Cares Committee Chair: Robert Coit Board Director: Martin Meyer

Gather information on ailing Rotarians and their family members and infoms the club membership

Rotary Foundation/ Annual Giving Committee Chair:  Board Director: Riley Moore

Promotes, collects and tracks doantions to the Rotary International Foundation. The committee also educates and promotes donations to Club's local foundation board as well as presenting Paul Harris Fellowships.

Rotary Member Information/Orientation Committee Chair: Kim Dinsmore Board Director: Martin Meyer

meets with each prospective member to inform them about the objectives and functions of the club.

Salvation Army (Bell Ringing) Committee Chair: Trent Hart Board Director: Patty Belmonte

Every December, Rotarians assist the Salvation Army during the holidays by ringng the bell at many locations to raise money for those less fortunate.

Scholarships Committee Chair: Don Chalmers Board Director: Patty Belmonte

Works with Olympia High School to award the annual scholarships to OHS Seniors in the following categories: Lee Brown, Chick Rocky Athletic, David Stevens, Les Armstrong, Ed Rogel, Doug McCleary, Betty Ann Balz Nursing, Balz/Firestone/Beal Engineering

Scouting Committee Chair:  Board Director: Patty Belmonte

The Scouting Committee coordinates with our charter Boy Scout Troop 2.

Spaghetti Bowl Committee Chair: Pat Rants Board Director: Pam Toal

Local Club Event established by Past President Dr. Al Cohen in 1994 to raise money for scholarships, build community camaraderie, and friendly sports rivalry of OHS and CHS football team supporters. The event is a spaghetti dinner before the annual OHS vs. CHS football game at Ingersoll Stadium in October. Members promote, sell dinner and raffle tickets, serve food, set tables and clean up for the many attendees between 4pm-8pm.

The Vocational Service Committee solicits nominations, selects the recipients, and presents the annula Vocational Service Award.

World Community Service Committee Chair: Warren Carlson Board Director: Riley Moore

The World Community Service Committee reviews and oversees projects for the club to sponsor.

Establish and maintain a Rotary Interact youth club at OHS.

The Youth Exchange Committee organizes and operates the club youth exchange, both incoming and outgoing students
